Easter is the biggest event in the Greek Orthodox calendar and guests at the Mistral will have the chance to celebrate in true Cretan style. You will join local people as they listen to the chanting of Easter rituals and join processions following an effigy of Judas.
What if I told you... there’s a magical little hotel a stone's throw from the beach on a beautiful Greek island where the weather is perfect every day, and clouds are unheard of.Where the sky and the sea are a deeper blue than you can possibly imagine. Where all the food is home-grown / home-made and beyond delicious. Where your only decisions are which book to read and whether to swim in the hotel’s pools or take a walk or an excursion to nearby beaches.
Where there are no families, kids or honeymooners. Where you gather in the evening for a communal meal with like-minded travellers. It’s true; I found it…that was my experience of the Mistral!
