Aegean airlines are flying twice daily Stansted to Athens and connect to Chania. Tickets can be bought on line through their web sites.

Heraklion airport is 2.5 hours away and we can pick you up for a 70 euros surcharge each way. Heraklion airport provides many more flight options from regional UK airports and may be a good choice.

A taxi from Heraklion to the Mistral costs about 150 euros each way but if you take the bus on departure it works out about £45 as a total cost. Chania to Heraklion bus fare. 11.50 euros - journey time 2.5 hrs with a 5min stop at Rethminon. Taxi from Heraklion to Airport. 10 euros Journey time 10 mins.

If you are flying from other European countries going via Athens is probably the best option. 
There are many internal flights daily from Athens to conect to Chania run by two companies. Aegean Airlines, Olympic Airlines and Athens airlines. Tickets can be bought on line through their web sites.

Flights from the US and Canada
If you are travelling from the US, Olympic Air fly direct from New York and Montreal to Athens and will offer a deal for connecting flights to Chania airport.

Continental airlines are flying New York (Newark) to Athens daily. Delta Airlines are flying Atlanta to Athens for the summer. Also US Airways are flying Philadelphia to Athens from May to October.

We are also happy to help you find a flight through our business partners in the UK. They are only a telephone call away, are very good and will find you the best deal available on flights. Airport Transfers

We will pick you up on arrival on Tuesday and take you back to Chania airport for departure. Just look for our Mistral clipboard. The hotel is just 35 minutes drive from the airport. We will meet you at the airport, even if your plane is delayed.
It would be ideal to have some way of contacting us in case of delays so we advise you to print and bring with you all our contact details that are on our web site and in the brochure. Please note that there is a small charge for non Tuesdays or Tuesdays unsociable hours airport transfers.
