The Mistral Hotel is owned by the Gialamarakis family and is run by the two brothers Adonis and Vassilis.
Vassilis studied Horticulture at Strathclyde University (Scottish Hotel School) and is an MSc. graduate in the International Hospitality Industry. He is also a member of the Slow Food Movement and the Wine Club of Chania.
Adonis is a true Cretan and the character behind the Mistral Hotel nightlife! He is also responsible for maintenance and is affectionately known as "the man who fixes things"!
Vassilis and Adonis's parents, Manolis and Katerina, started the business but are now retired and happy to relax and enjoy everyday life at the Mistral.

Our chef Vicky, supplies the Mistral Hotel with fresh goats cheese made from her own goats milk.
