Q: How do I check availability at the Mistral Hotel?
A: Use our online booking system, submit your details and enquiry on the Contact Us page, email us at [email protected] or call us on: 0030 28210 62062.

Q: Is there a single travellers supplement?
A: There is no single supplement for our double rooms.

Q: Where can I book my flights?
A: Go to the Online Flights to Crete page and the Skyscanner tool will search for available flights. Or you can email our UK agent, Cannon Travel on: [email protected].

Q: Which airport should I fly to?
A: Our local airport is Chania and there is no charge for transfers on Tuesdays (unless unsociable arrival times).

Q: Can I fly from any regional UK airport?
A: Most regional flights land at Heraklion airport. We can arrange for transfers subject to a charge.

Q: Will somebody be at the airport to meet me?
A: A representative of the Hotel will be waiting to greet you. Look out for the Mistral Hotel clipboard!

Q: What is the age range of your guests?
A: Our single traveller guests are generally between the ages of 25 – 70 with the majority in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.

Q: I am a vegetarian – will that be a problem?
A: Our experienced chef is able to cater for any guest with special dietary requirements.

Q: I am anxious about being alone in the evenings?
A: For many of our guests, the highlight of the day is sitting together at dinner and discussing (with much wine and merriment!) the events of the day.

Q: Will I be included in any group activities?
A: The most important rule of the Mistral Hotel is that every single guest is made to feel included in the group.

Q: Do I have to take part in all the group activities?
A: Whilst the Mistral Hotel offers a vast range of events and excursions, your holiday is unstructured which means you can take part in as much or as little as you wish. There is never any pressure to join in.

Q: How can I contact other like-minded single travellers to the Mistral Hotel?
A: Visit our Facebook page and make friends with fellow guests before you travel.

Q: What happens if something goes wrong?
A: The Mistral Hotel team will be available to help you with any problem that may arise. You can be assured of our best attention at all times.
