MISTRALITES

MEET THE MISTRALITES

Every guest who visits the Mistral immediately becomes one of the ‘Mistralites’, a member of Adonis’ extended worldwide family. When Anthea Turner came to visit she took the opportunity to sit down on a sofa and ask a few, both regulars and ‘newbies’, why they came and what they thought of the hotel and the holiday. We thought you might like to see what they have to say.

Annette was a newbie Mistralite who booked on the recommendation of friends. She was particualarly impressed by how well Chef Manolis and the kitchen team catered for her special dietary requirements, and for those of other guests in a similar situation.

*

When it comes to regulars there may be Mistralites who have chalked up more visits to the hotel than Bridget – if so we’re not quite sure who they are! Anthea was curious to find out just why she is such a huge fan.

Dyed-in-the-wool Yorkshireman and dedicated Mistralite Charlie has chalked up double-digit visits to stay with us. Never short of either an opinion or a smile, he was very happy to spend some time chatting on the sofa with Anthea. He even got her to autograph his Mistralite bedroom slippers (luckily they were a brand new pair!).

*

Meet Claudette, a newbie Mistralite from south of the Thames who booked at the Destinations show at Olympia. Claudette happened to time her holiday to co-incide with Anthea’s visit and they got on like a house on fire.

Sam is not only a Mistralite regular, she also one of our Facebook moderators. Sometime we think Sam knows more about the Mistral and how to get here than we do ourselves! Anthea caught up with her over a glass of wine for a deep dive into Mistralite culture.

So after talking to some Mistralites on camera, staying for 4 nights and talking to many more off-camera at dinner and around the bar, tasting the olive oil and joining in the dancing on Cretan night, did Anthea unravel the secret of the Mistral Hotel’s success?
